We are having a googley eye contest with entries to be submitted by June 25.  We will announce the winners at our fair event which will be held on Friday, July 12 at the Randolph High School.  A presenter will be entertaining us with hands on science experiments from 6:30-7:15. Be sure to come early for a pork sandwich supper  (free will offering) before the show.

This year’s theme is “Dig Into Reading” so we may be getting a little dirty during our activities, dress accordingly!

Our incentive prize this year is a ticket for your child to go to Ash Fall Fossil Beds.  We hope you and your family will enjoy this little day trip instead of the prizes we normally hand out.

Happy summer everyone!

“There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world. Love of books is the best of all.”— Jacqueline Kennedy

Free digital downloads are now available online from the Lied Randolph Public Library.  The new service makes it possible for you to check out and download digital audio and eBooks anytime anywhere in the world.

What is Digital Media?
We offer two types of digtal books: eBooks and digital Audio Books.  An eBook is a text based, digital version of a book that can be read on your home computer, Macintosh, Smartphone, Palm OS devic or Pocket PC.  Digital Audio Book, which are spoken-word digital audio files, can be enjoyed on your PC and hundreds of portable audio devices-you can even burn them to CD and listen in your car or on any standard CD player.

How it works:
Just install the free software from our website, then browse our collection of fiction, mysteries, romanc, nonfiction, best sellers, and more.  When you’re ready, you can download the digital titles directly to your computer, transfer them to an MP3 player or portable device, or burn some audio books to CD.  At the end of the lending period, your digital downloads are automatically returned-so there are never any late fees!  A valid library card is all you need to begin enjoying digital media today!
