I.          OPENING PROCEDURE

  1. Call to order @ 5:33pm
  2. Pursuant to the Nebraska Open Meetings Act a current copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the meeting room and is available for viewing by the public.

II.         ROUTINE BUSINESS

  1. Roll Call – Jeri Gubbels, Shelley Crawford, Julie Pfansteil, Tiffany Guenther, Megan Shearer, Katie Miller, and Peggy Leiting

Monday Morning Story Hours @ 10:00

April 22: 5th-6th Grade Afterschool

April 24: Learning Center

April 24: May 1st, May 15 Chess Club

April 24: Elementary Book Club

May 12: Humanities Nebraska Program @ 10:00 and 2:00 (one will be held at the elementary)

May 15: TRAILs Library Meeting @ 9:30-4:00

  • Review policies/ none
  • Ideas and suggestions:
  • Ballot drop-off at the library – it was discussed and all were in favor if the decision comes to it. 
  • Project Access donated products for us to have available to patrons.
  • We are listed in the Wander Nebraska booklets.
  • Peter Talley is willing to come back regularly (typically $300 for a single session, however he will cut us a deal for a whole year, which is $450 for twice a month.)  It was suggested to go ahead and move forward with this and see what he has interest in doing and which age group he would like to join.)
  • SRP registration, tie dye socks possible date Monday April 28th

    • Thursday-Elementary
    • Monday-Games

Shelley inquired on whether or not the library would offer the paper shredding again?  Peggy said she will look into things again.
