November 12, 2024
I. OPENING PROCEDURE
- Call to order: 5:35
- Pursuant to the Nebraska Open Meetings Act a current copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted in the meeting room and is available for viewing by the public.
II. ROUTINE BUSINESS
- Roll Call: Katie Miller, Jeri Gubbels, Shelley Crawford, Jeri Gubbels, and Peggy Leiting

- Approve previous meetings minutes, Jeri made a motion to approve, Shelley seconded, all were in favor.

Attended the Pumpkin Fest at the school and handed out over 100 books.
Applying for Youth Grant for First Lego Teams
Applying for Library Improvement Grant for Bike Rack and solar lights
We added a Tonies Box and figures to our Early Learning Selection.
Tiffany, Julie and Peggy met with Katie for her 1 year evaluation.
The board entered an executive session to discuss wages.
Recommendation for Katie’s raise will be sent to the city.

Katie explained the Reading incentive for this winter and showed the board the Dragon cards. fo
Activities over Christmas Break yet to be decided.
- Review policies/none
- Ideas and suggestions: Jeri attended the town hall meeting and reported that the Library had high marks. The only concern was parking for the elderly and the high curbs. At this time we do not have any suggestions to help but do understand that it is a problem, especially in the winter. The board also discussed adding security cameras at some point.
