Library Minutes
CALL TO ORDER: Anyone desiring to view the Open Meetings Act may do so.
ROLL CALL: Shelley Crawford, Kelli Thelen, Jeri Gubbels, Mag Borst, Peggy Leiting.
Minutes, Financial Report and Bills.
Jeri made a motion to approve the minutes, financial report and bills. Mag seconded.
LIBRARY REPORT: 838 Visits with 1,064 items circulating, 159 computer uses, digital checkouts. 20 Children’s programs with 288 attending, 0 young adult programs and 1 adult program with 6 attending (phone class through Northeast Community College)
Peggy attended Trunk or Treat with a photo booth.
Becky Miller and Peggy Leiting attended the Makerspace Conference in Lincoln on November 2 & 3. Kelli Thelen attended also. Need to look into using that attendance for our CE hours.
UPS will now pick up prelabeled items for the public from the library. Packages must be dropped off by noon to be picked up the same day.

OLD BUSINESS:
Musical Instrument park- Rod and Carmen Patent would like to donate one of the instruments.
Fiber Grant Proposals will be opened on November 15. Esu 1 in Wakefield.
Kruetz Bennett Foundation asked us to submit the long form grant for the Musical Instrument Park. They did not request the long form for the handicap access door openers. They are limited on funds and said there would not be enough to go around.
The announcement from the Nebraska Library Commission about the grants was delayed. They had numerous requests and they are considering adding more funds to be given away before awarding them.
Santa Day-not going to participate in anything.
NEW BUSINESS:
Makerspace Equipment
ARPA Funds- Can be used to pay Becky to help with makerspace equipment.
Kelli made a motion to adjourn, Shelley seconded.
